Rileigh Goldsmith
Rileigh Goldsmith is a Los Angeles-based choreographer and producer who has collaborated with Mattel, YouTube, the Dizzy Feet Foundation, TED Talks, the Detroit Pistons Basketball Team, Shanghai Theatre Academy, and Disney.
With a deep interest in the intersection of technology and dance, Rileigh is focused on understanding the emotional and cognitive impact of movement. Holding both a BA in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and a BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan, she is particularly fascinated by how the brain and body work together. One area of particular interest is kinesthetic empathy—the way people mirror and internalize the movement patterns they observe, creating a shared experience of dance.
A forward-thinker in the evolving landscape of immersive art, Rileigh works as a Motion Capture performer and produces 360-degree and virtual reality dance content. She uses these cutting-edge platforms to push the boundaries of commercial dance, integrating it into “high art” academia spaces and creating experiences that are both thought-provoking and transformative.
